"This game looks really fun, and one of the best things about it is the fact that developers have tried to make it stand out in the battle royale genre by adding some original mechanics like types of guns and their stats, instead of just making an exact copy of Fortnite like most battle royale game developers do.
Another great aspect of this game is that it seems to follow the “easy to learn, hard to master” formula, which is usually one of the best indicators that a game is fun and addictive.
Unfortunately, there are two major downsides. First, there is a Free-To-Play version that is completely separate from the game, which could indicate that it is very limited in comparison to the full version. Secondly, if players can buy and upgrade NFT weapons and NFT heroes, it is possible that the full version of the game will have Pay-To-Win mechanics, reducing the value of strategy and skill.
Nevertheless, you should try the Free-To-Play version and then decide if investing is a good idea or not. It feels like the Free-To-Play mode will still be fun enough to make players invest in Battle World."
Battle World is a battle royale third-person shooter game, with mechanics that are very similar to Fortnite´s. The main differences are that this game is in 2.5D instead of 3D, and it includes NFT technologies to allow players to own their heroes and weapons.
Players not only have to kill the enemy players (by making their 100 health points and 100 shield points reach 0), but they must also stay in the safe zone. As with most battle royale games, the battlefield gets smaller as time passes, which avoids players being able to hide to survive and instead, forces them to be skilled and fight.
Another important element of the gameplay is the choice of starting zone. Many different elements will determine how good or bad an area is, like how close to the center of the safe zone it is, how many weapons there are, and how likely you are to find enemies there. Some areas could be the best in some regards, but at the same time, there will be the zones where it is harder to survive. The tradeoff is that the better an area is, the more enemy players there could be at the start of the match.
There are 3 game modes:
There are 9 different types of gun, each with their own advantages and disadvantages. For example, the shotgun is the best for close combat, but for long range attacks, it is necessary to have a sniper. Other weapons, like the bow and arrow, are harder to use, but more powerful. All this means that players must choose their guns carefully.
Every gun has the following stats:
