Roadmap

There is no information on the Road Map (Just some info about key milestones but it’s very vague).

About the game

Player Requirements

To play this game, users can play as guests by installing the app on their phones or playing from a web browser. However, if players want to receive rewards and make faster progress, they will need to create an Ethlas account and pair it with a crypto wallet such as MetaMask.

Tokennomics

There are two different tokens in the Ethlas universe:

  • $XGEM: It is equivalent to the GEM in-game currency. It is used for all in-game purchases and rewards, such as items, upgrades and services like forging. The $XGEM token has a hard cap of 74,000,000,000 tokens
  • $ELS: Is the governance token being progressively distributed to various stakeholders, eventually it will include a public sale. The $ELS token has a hard cap of 500,000,000 tokens

As for staking, by using a Quickswap Univ 2 Liquidity Pool token, users are able to swap their Liquidity Pool token for a unique “Elemental NFT”, which will ensure staking rewards and will also have in-game utility interactions with the Komo NFT.

Holding a $GEM (Staked GEM) will give users a specific APY (annual percentage yield) and can include a $GEM collectible NFT given as an artwork reward by the Ethlas design team. $ELS holders have a say in the projects’ growth and evolution, and eventually, will be able to get a share of the project´s profits through Ethlas Treasure rewards.

Ethlas also has in-game staking like The Tree of Life, and events like Windblown (which is planned to be used again in the future). In these events, Elemental NFTs (which are staked LP tokens) will provide staking rewards and in-game utility.

Monetization

While playing Ethlas games, users will receive a daily free spin on the Wheel of Fortune. For a chance to earn rare and valuable items, the player may purchase additional golden wheel spins in the marketplace by using GEMs.

Players will also be able to earn rewards in:

  • The Gem Fountain: This is a weekly weighted probability prize pool where players will decide how much they want to stake in the fountain to get a corresponding opportunity of winning
  • Tournaments, Leaderboards, and Supersized Komo games: for a fixed entry fee, these competitions will reward the best scores on everyday games
  • Item drops: Items can be found when players engage in games and explore the Ethlas Metaverse. These items can be used to forge other rare items, and can eventually be sold on the P2P marketplace

A good thing to keep in mind is that the safest and more steady way to progressively earn rewards is to play the mini-games that the user is best at, as they will have a chance to get a GEM drop, and also improve specific stats that will level-up the Komo’s abilities.

Social Media and Online Presence

Analytic Opinion

“Once you log on Ethlas, you will enter Pixieland, a universe that will evoke nostalgic feelings amongst retro video game fans. For those who know, it also has some nice Studio Ghibli vibes as well. The universe presents itself with cool designs and full of good ideas. Axie Infinity has had a lot of success with a similar concept in the past. It has attracted younger and more ‘casual’ audience into a cozy yet competitive and engaging environment. Ethlas’s Komos are visually appealing enough to make people want to own one. Another upside to this project is that it is very easy to just start playing. The game includes many internal spaces and mini-games where the users can entertain themselves daily. Some of these games may feel a little clunky and frustrating. At the moment, the project’s specific goals and their deadlines are not clear. Unfortunately, this does not give users the confidence they need in order to invest in Komos; especially because they also know there is a safer and more popular alternative they could invest in. However, this does not mean that the project does not have potential, especially when part of its vision involves the possibility of including more and more outside games. If this works out, and the Komo Klash mode ends up being entertaining enough, this game should have a substantial rise in popularity. I guess we’ll just have to see.”

Ethlas is a blockchain game, based on the Polygon Network. Owning a Komo NFT to play with is one of the two main aspects of this game. The second is the arcade-style games users can farm to earn experience points and other rewards.

In Ethlas, there are NFT assets known as Komos. They are portrayed as little dragons, each with their own particular look and attribute. Players are encouraged to own these NFTs so they can participate in the Komo Klash and other farming activities. In the Komo Klash feature, players will utilize their own Komos to participate in PvP arenas, PvE campaigns, and co-op boss battles.

In the campaign mode, players are able to go off on different quests on a variety of elemental realms. Owning specific elemental NFTs may unlock exclusive campaign missions in each realm. Here, different elements are associated with every Komo, as they all have different strengths and weaknesses. In the Komo Klash battle game, players can build their own team with up to 3 Komos, and strategize their line-up. Players will have the opportunity to enter a weekly competition to win exclusive rewards.

The PvP and real-time avatar interaction is what has kept the community interested and has allowed for the project’s vision to move forward.

This universe’s key element is definitely its casual arcade games. Players can level-up their Komo NFTs by playing games to earn experience points. Players can also obtain items and earn prices. There are some classic game components like in Tetris, Flappy Bird, Billiards, and Candy Crush, but each has its own unique aesthetic and feeling.

Users can also visit the Wheel of Fortune, which delivers allegedly random types of rewards like GEMs or items.
