“For starters, I believe the project’s story is very innovative. The fact that it goes from one era to another, sounds very appealing to me. One really feels the advancement as you move forward in the game, since the environment is constantly changing. The way characters move and the gameplay reminds me a little bit of other games like Fortnite, for example. I think this is cool; It is kind of a proven formula for success in this industry. On top of that, you have the possibility of earning NFTs and money.

However, it is unknown whether or not the eras will continue to develop and that is a huge red flag in my opinion. If the story ends in the last era, then what? You will have nothing else to do in the game other than keep walking around. So, I believe the game’s lifespan might be limited or short, and I wish they would clarify what would happen next.”

Life Beyond is a MMO metaverse game in which players can not only discover and fight aliens but can also collaborate as a team to perform tasks. The game introduces a new world discovered by mankind, where players have to explore, fight, conquer and then create a new successful humanity to live through different eras.

The game begins with the player's arrival on Dolos, a planet of a new solar system. They are assigned a customizable apartment at the Base. At first, players will have to explore the few lands that are available to exploit together. Once more of the planet’s land becomes accessible, players have the chance to experience new gameplays and can further interact between each other.

Players would have to gain specialized skills for their character in order to get the job done.

‍Some of the early game skills are:

• Archaeologist: Able to find, excavate and translate the writing and symbols of ancient technology
• Fighter: Greatly enhanced combat ability
• Mining Engineer: Able to extract and collect underground resources
• Gatherer: Proficient in collecting surface-based resources
• Transporter: Enhanced ability to move objects, resources, and elements from place to place
• Musician: Able to produce harmonic vibrations to trigger and use alien technology
• Parkourist: Able to scale otherwise impossible-to-reach areas and high places

There are little stories behind the game’s main story. Players would have to collaborate in several expeditions to obtain resources and unknown artifacts. In these expeditions, players will encounter all sort of threats. It will require some strategy, co-operation, and leadership to get through them.

Users would have the chance to craft and experiment with weapons and equipment. The game also encourages players to craft what they want with the resources they have to see what they come up with. These inventions – as well as other existing items – have the potential to become NFTs.

Furthermore, different eras are available in the game. As players progress within the game, the era changes and new gameplays and objectives are unlocked. ‍

There are three eras:

Pioneering Era: Players become pioneers to discover and explore the new world they are in. They will be faced with the good and the bad, the richness and danger that this place has to offer. Once all regions are secure, this era comes to an end.

Settling Era: Users take up the role of a settler and start building small farms and houses to develop a small society. They will be responsible for protecting the village, construction, founding industries and farming.

Political Era: During this Era, players play a politician to influence and lead the way for others. This will create a lifestyle with new rules and laws. At the end of the day, politicians have the responsibility of creating a thriving society.
