Analytic Opinion

“This project reminds of a combination of Zelda and GTA. On the one hand, it has a variety of maps and locations to explore and find all kinds of items while fighting enemies. On the other hand, it has some PG18 content and the freedom to participate in whichever activities you choose. I think the storyline could be really fun to be a part of, since the team states that it is a never-ending story, so players will be able to spend hours and hours on it. The fact that it is free to start playing is a major plus as it will give skeptical players the chance to try the game out first, before investing a dime.

However, although I consider the graphics to be top-notch, I think the gameplay and the characters’ mechanics are a little rough in comparison. The game is not as smooth as some would like. Also, Play-To-Earn rewards are not available for everyone, so it is not really a 100% Free-To-Play game, because players do not get the full experience - just a taste of it. And finally, and probably the most important point, is the fact that the information in the whitepaper is not very clear, especially the tokenomics. The information provided is extensive, yet vague in many ways.

Nevertheless, I would certainly keep an eye on it to see how it develops in the upcoming months.”

The story is set in 2123, where a new virus is starting to destroy the economy and people have been forced to isolate themselves. Wolf Chang, a Chinese billionaire, has been working on a self-sustainable island in the sea of China managed by androids and robots. One day, Wolf and his family are forced to isolate themselves, so they go to the secret island until they realize that any type of communication with the rest of the world is lost. The rest of the story is for players to find out…

Players on the island are allowed to choose their character, either male or female. This character is able to develop their own traits and abilities by interacting with the island. For example, if a character uses swords very often, their ability to use swords will increase. Also, players earn score points every time they do tasks or interact with in-game features, such as buying food. How many score points they earn depends on the difficulty of the task or action. These points are meant to give value to their progress and participation.

Players get ranked every day. There are 15 ranks (15 being the highest). The way they are categorized is by determining the score points of each server. The more score points, the higher the rank. A player’s rank determines what they can and cannot do in the game; for instance, renting a house or using certain weapons. It is important to note that players can lose their rank if they do not play or interact with the metaverse, but if they want to secure their spot, they can pay a monthly fee to do so. If a player reaches rank 15, they are crowned and will never lose their rank.

To give more dynamism and fun to the island, players can go to the Wild Zone or other specific areas to fight and earn rewards. Moreover, they can interact with the people on the island on side quests that allow them to find new weapons and items, earn more score points to help their rank, improve their character abilities and earn tokens. In addition, every day at noon, the mining facility distributes crypto in the form of gems and precious stones for 1 minute, before exploding. Players have to find these to earn $WOK.

The island has various locations with different activities.

  • Tech City Zone: This is  a safe zone on the island, where players can interact with each other, buy food, collect crypto, or gain knowledge about the island
  • Leaw Beach: This is a place to chill and hang out with friends. Here, players can find music, bars, and sunsets
  • Slum Ville: A place where players can rent a cheap house to keep progressing in the game
  • The Wild Zone: Players need a certain rank to enter the Wild Zone, where they go to fight mutants
  • The Dungeons: There are portals to move around the island, and corridors to fight monsters and find in-game items

The project offers different categories of NFT in the game, each with different rarity levels. The players can collect Audio, Art, Avatars, Skins, Objects, and Abilities, with the rarity levels being Common, Rare, Super Rare, Unique, and Genesis.
