About the game

Player Requirements

The game is Free-To-Play and will be available in the browser and on mobile devices.

Tokennomics

The backbone of Legends of Elysium is $LOE tokens. With $LOE, players can purchase items on the marketplace or in the in-game store, craft a new card, stake or borrow NFT cards, and vote in the board on important gameplay and game direction. There will be a fixed supply of 1,000,000,000 $LOE tokens which have many uses, such as buying standard and premium card packs and game boards, paying for transactions on the marketplace and in-game store, creating new cards from dust and tokens, voting in the Legends of Elysium governance, and paying entry fees to participate in e-sports tournaments and battlefield mode. The majority of tokens spent on in-game transactions will be automatically transferred to the treasury based on a uniquely designed mechanism, making the game independent in the long run.

Marketplace NFT

The marketplace allows players to view and purchase cards offered by other players, as well as offering their own cards for sale. Additional features will be available within the marketplace, such as staking and renting NFT cards. Cards offered for sale cannot be used in-game at the same time.

Stake & Borrow NFT

Players will be able to stake their NFT cards will be able to stake. Each card has a specific value and players will earn rewards based on that value. Staking is subject to 7-day cycles and rewards will be claimable at the end of each cycle. Staked cards cannot be used in the game deck but will be available for other players to borrow. Borrowing will allow a player to use the card in their deck for a given period of time. The cost of borrowing is based on the value of the card.

Board validators

“Board validators” are players who own a board and thus earn extra income from the allocated portion of the game treasury. The number of new boards will be limited and available for purchase on a regular basis in the form of an NFT by community members who have contributed the most to the game ecosystem. The level of profit generated by the boards depends on their level. A new board is level 2 upon release. Each time a new board is released, the levels of all existing boards will decrease by 1. Boards that are level 0 no longer generate any profit for their owners. You cannot drop below level 0.

Analytic Opinion

“I really like this card game, both in term of the quality of the graphics and the way the whitepaper is written. Everything is described and explained in detail. The team itself looks very experienced, consisting of several programmers and designers. From what they state, they have been around the crypto space for some time. The team has attracted expert Michal Miłosz as an advisor. He has worked on The Witcher, Diablo 3 and Dying Light. Personally, I really like the overall composition of the team. They are professionals in the right place.”

Legends of Elysium is a Play-To-Earn fantasy card game enriched with strategic elements. The game combines the unique and immersive experience of a classic card game with disruptive NFT technology. The first version will be released as a web-based game in order to be platform independent and reach as many players as possible. Players will be able to try both single and multiplayer modes, so there's definitely something for everyone.

The Play-To-Earn model has allowed the introduction of several interesting game modes adapted to the time needs of each player:

League, Adventure, Tournament, Friendly Duel, Battlefield.

Players will be able to layout and customize their strategy based on several factors such as their hero's race and profession, the game board or NFT cards. Strategy in the game is an extremely important element, with an almost unlimited number of options.

League

Multiplayer mode, which serves as the main source of income. These are ranked matches in which players earn points for winning battles, allowing them to advance to higher levels of the league. At the start of the week, each player has 1000 points on the leaderboard. For winning battles, players gain points for their rank, thereby increasing it. But if they lose, they drop points from their ranking. At the end of the week, the top players share the prize pool.

Adventure

A single player game mode that allows you to try out new boards, characters and game mechanics. It is designed to prepare players and develop the best possible skills which, when acquired, will give players an advantage in other game modes as well. With this mode, players will get an expanded story and the opportunity to learn new content, but also unique cards that are only available after completing the Adventure mode. Cards obtained in this way can be then used in all game modes.

Tournament

A competitive game mode that will be repeatedly held in the form of e-sports events with commentators and sponsors. Different types of tournaments will be introduced into the game and players must pay a non-refundable registration fee to participate. Grand prizes will be awarded to the top players in each tournament.

Friendly duel

This is a game mode in which players can challenge their friends to a duel. Winning battles does not count towards daily quests and does not offer any experience, ranking points, or other bonuses.

Battlefield

Battlefield is another competitive mode with an entry fee to participate in a tournament-style match. Players compete against each other with decks built using the draft method and have the chance to win prizes. Each player can compete in Battlefield until they lose 2 lives or win 7 battles. Battlefield can be considered a sort of preview of a real tournament.

Heroes

Players create a hero when they enter the game and can choose the race and profession of their hero to suit their play style. A player can have many heroes under one account, but the maximum level of each hero is 50. Higher level heroes have more HP, provide more EXP (experience), and offer higher rewards.

Each race has a special passive skill related to a specific card type. There will be three races available in the game in the first phase: human, orc and dark elf. Each hero can choose one of the following professions: warrior, archer and mage.

The profession provides heroes with special passive skills.

Cards

Cards are the core of Legends of Elysium. They can be divided into three main types: units, spells and items. Units can be deployed into battle on the board, spells can be cast during battle, and items can be equipped to your hero. Cards are classified according to their frequency of occurrence:

  • Common
  • Rare
  • Epic
  • Legendary

To maintain the uniqueness of the cards, only epic and legendary are NFTs. A player who owns NFT cards has several options for utilizing them:

  • Use them as part of their deck
  • Sell them on the market
  • Stake them and earn rewards
  • Burn the cards and get the power needed to craft new cards

Players can earn new cards by opening standard or limited decks, crafting at the forge, buying at the market, completing in-game quests, and playing in adventure mode. Players build their own decks from cards with each deck consisting of 24 cards and operating under the general rules of the game.

Card decks

Card packs contain random cards and payers can open them to receive new cards. There are 2 types of card packs in the game: standard and premium.

Standard packs can be earned by winning adventure and battlefield modes, completing quests, or buying from the marketplace. Each standard pack contains 3 cards. The odds of drawing a card in the standard deck are as follows:

  • Common – 51%
  • Rare – 48.98667%
  • Epic – 0.01%
  • Legendary – 0.00333%

Premium packs are limited to 1000 packs per released race. Each premium pack gives a chance for 1 card that is definitely an NFT. The next 2 cards have the following chance of being an NFT:

  • Epic – 80%
  • Legendary – 20%

Game boards

Each board will have a different appearance and may contain different types of mines and special fields. They are all based on the same layout, consisting of hexagonal boxes. Such fields add another strategic element to classic card games. The board may also contain special fields that give an advantage to the player who controls them at the beginning of the turn. This combination of random elements during the game will make each game a new challenge and an exciting experience.

Mines

Mines are one of the special features on the board, providing players with various passive bonuses throughout the battle. Up to 3 mines can be attached to each board, which can have different bonuses on different boards. Activating the mines requires the player to deposit tokens into the mine of their choice prior to battle. The strength of the bonuses gained from a mine depends on the amount of tokens deposited.
