SecuX W20
Basic Information
Secux W20 is an older type of a non-custodial hardware wallet (HW) produced by the company SecuX Technologies Inc. The wallet supports more than 1,000 assets, and you can use it to safely store your coins and tokens.
Functionality
SecuX W20 is the second hardware wallet developed by SecuX Technologies Inc. The main feature of the wallet is a large 2.8-inch LCD touch screen and reliable connectivity. You can connect the device to your PC (Windows, Mac OS, Linux and Chrome OS) or a mobile phone as the software is compatible with all phones running on Android and iOS. You can connect it either with a Bluetooth or a USB-micro cable. The wallet has a rechargeable lithium polymer battery that lasts for up to 7 hours of use.
The safety of the wallet is provided by a 24-word seed, personal PIN and a secure Infineon SE chip. So far there has been no known breach of security of any wallet from the developers. If someone tries to hack your wallet and enters the wrong PIN, the wallet will reset itself. Therefore, no one will be able to recover your assets without having the seed phrase that you saw when you set up the wallet.

Tips from an Analyst
When buying a SecuX W20, be sure only to do so from the official website as you are reducing the threat that someone has tampered with your new wallet. The wallet itself has an extra feature – a tamper-proof seal. Thanks to this, any attempted access to your wallet will result in evident markings. If you notice this, please do not put any coins or tokens into the wallet.
Even though the wallet is safe, you should be very careful when setting it up. The app will show you a seed which you should keep in the “offline world.” Do not take a picture of it as you are risking it being stolen along with all your assets. You can follow the advice available on the manufacturer’s official website.
Analyst Opinion
SecuX W20 is the second wallet made by the company SecuX Technology Inc. It has many great features, starting with the enormous number of supported coins and tokens. The LCD touch screen is easy to use, but the main advantage of the device is its connectability to Android, iOS, and PC operating systems.
There is one thing about the wallet that might confuse a lot of people. As I mentioned before, the SecuX W20 is the second wallet from this company, and the previous hardware wallet has a really similar name: SecuX V20. When you go to the official site, it might be hard for you to determine the difference between the old and new model. The answer is quite simple: there is almost no difference.
Wallet types
The new SecuX V20 has a different shape, is heavier and uses a USB-C cable. It also costs 20 USD more. But when you look at the software of both wallets, they are the same. Both are good wallets that can securely store your assets. So, the true question is whether you are looking for an older model with an older cable, which is cheaper, or if you want to go with the new one. I believe both of them are worth buying.
