A Multiplayer Mode Has Been Introduced in Undead Blocks
A multiplayer feature for the zombie-killing first-person shooter game Undead Blocks has recently been released. In co-op mode, players can now join together with their friends to battle hordes of zombies. The gaming community has been eagerly awaiting this, because it will undoubtedly improve gameplay. The team also plans to add more survivors to the game, so that in the future, even more players will be able to join.
Since its release, the number of users playing Undead Blocks has been growing steadily. The game has joined the Immutable X ecosystem and hosted 100,000 USD tournaments, but it has also held numerous giveaways over the past 12 months. The project has progressed a lot over the last two months in particular, and the gameplay has undergone significant changes. New weapons, bosses, unlimited waves, and a co-op mode have all recently been added. Later this year, there are plans for a full release on PC and mobile, as well as a series of free tournaments with 15,000 USD in prize money for competitors.
Survival games involving zombies have been popular for a long time. Games like Left 4 Dead, Call of Duty's zombie modes, and Day-Z have attracted players all over the world. Play-To-Earn mechanics are relatively new to the genre, and Undead Blocks may be the first to use them. These mechanics reward players with in-game currency based on how long they can stay alive in the game.
The developer has already disclosed plans for the next updates, which will include a mall map, more weapons like the wave gun, additional enemies, and a battle pass system. The full release of Undead Blocks is scheduled for late January 2023. Grant Haseley, the game's executive director, has unveiled a VIP game mode in which players will be able to "kill2earn."
Undead Blocks is a Free-To-Play game that uses NFTs and a token called $UNDEAD that will soon evolve into the ecosystem token $WAGYU. There is a cap of 6,500 in-game NFTs, which allow their owners to earn in-game currency every day. So, unlike in Axie Infinity, in which players can mint their own NFTs, there is no inflation.
