Ultra Gaming Platform Launches

The Ultra platform is a blockchain-based gaming hub that offers a wide range of Web 2.0 and Web 3.0 gaming titles.

On April 25, the Ultra computer game platform was launched globally. The platform includes a large number of traditional games such as Siberia, Lords Of The Fallen, WRC7 and many more. In addition to these traditional games, however, Ultra also offers Web 3.0 games, some of which will be playable at a later date. Blockchain games that can be played now include the action adventure Mars4, FPS Undead Blocks, TCG Cards of Ethernity and many more. There are over 80 Web 2.0 and Web 3.0 games on the list so far, with some being free and others, such as other gaming platforms, requiring a purchase.

The full list of playable games is available here.

Ultra Corporation also has many strong partners, including Atari, AMD, Ubisoft, The Sandbox, Xangle and others. So, this is a project with support from both traditional technology and gaming companies, as well as Web 3.0 companies.

How does it work?

On Ultra's official website, you download the app, register and once you have installed it and logged in, you can start playing and exploring. The app is very simple and intuitive, so you'll learn how to use it in minutes.

The platform also has a built-in software wallet, Ultra Wallet, and its own native $UOS token that can be purchased directly in the app with one of over 80 fiat currencies. The token is used to pay for games, but traditional debit or credit cards can also be used to pay.

There is also a special "Uniq Marketplace" built into the app, in which various NFT collections and in-game items are for sale. Once again, these can be purchased using the token or fiat currency. Everything runs on Ultra's own blockchain network, which is based on the EOS.IO SDK.

The last tab is Theta.tv, which is used for streaming various games and works on a similar principle to Twitch. If you want to stream or send or receive donations, you need to register separately on the streaming platform directly from the Ultra app.

In the future, Ultra Arena will be launched as well, which will be used for tournaments offering valuable prizes.

The Ultra platform brings Web 3.0 games one step closer to traditional gamers, who can experience these games in a way with which they are familiar, without having to set up a Web 3.0 wallet or purchase any cryptocurrency. The platform is available to everyone for free; all you have to do is download it, register and enjoy borderless gaming.
