Aavegotchi updates

Aavegotchi are rare crypto-collectibles on the Ethereum blockchain with DeFi support from Aave. They have three attributes that determine their overall value and rarity in the Aavegotchi universe – spirit force, traits, and wearables.

Updates

  • The GAX Liquidity Reward Token (GLTR) was recently introduced by the Aavegotchi Protocol. $GLTR is a brand-new, fair-launch token to be used to reward liquidity providers on the upcoming Gotchus Alchemica Exchange (GAX). GLTR staking is live, and enables players to stake their wapGHST or Quickswap/Sushiswap LP Tokens to start receiving GLTR rewards. More information can be found on this link.
  • $GHST deposits and withdrawals now can be done directly on the Polygon Mainnet, without needing to use a bridge. Binance enabled users to skip the bridging process and send and withdraw their tokens directly to their Web 3.0 wallets on the Polygon Mainnet. This will allow players to interact with the Aavegotchi ecosystem much more easily. Details can be found on this link.
  • Gotchiverse Land Decorations can now be bought and sold at the Aavegotchi Baazaar.

Gameplay updates

  • Gotchiverse Land Release is live. With this release, players can access, and create on, any REALM plots they own. For more information.
  • Unequipping functionality is live. Players can now remove Tiles and Installations from their Gotchiverse realm plots.
  • The Verse Analytics Tools Page is live. The page enables players and holders to track $GLTR price action correlated to other Alchemicas (Alchemia are the building blocks of the Gotchiverse, and are used to craft Installations and Tiles, an essential part of the Gotchiverse).

  • Aavegotchi Rarity Farming Season 4 went live on 28 July 2022. This is a Play-To-Earn mechanism designed to reward the most engaged players.

Partnership updates

  • A partnership with Music Parkour has been announced. Music Parkour is an upcoming virtual reality (VR) rhythm game.
  • The Aavegotchi Ethereum NFT collection is now available on the GamerHash NFT Marketplace.
  • Aavegotchi are available on Lens Protocol. Lens Protocol is a decentralized social graph that allows developers to launch Web 3.0 social-media platforms. All Aavegotchi holders can mint their own Lens profiles. Link for Aavegotchi holder claims.
  • $GHST is now being supported on the self-custody crypto wallet Exodus.

Two new updates are also around the corner:

  • The first is the upcoming Cross-Chain Swaps Feature with integration of Router Protocol to enable cross-chain swaps for $GHST! Read more here.
  • The second is the upcoming art release that will introduce new features to the Gotchiverse. With this feature, NFT owners will be able to display their favorite NFT in the Gotchiverse. Read more here.

The Aavegotchi team don't seem to be scared or intimidated by the bear market. The team keeps engaging with the community by providing new information and updates. Special events as well as $GHST airdrops are regularly being shared from the project’s social-media channels. We will continue keeping an eye on updates about this project, dear readers.
