Cryptoys partners with the Mattel toy company
Partnership with Mattel
Mattel is known as the leader of the toy industry. It launched the most iconic brands such as Barbie, Fisher-Price, Hot Wheels, UNO, and MOTU. It was also the first toy brand to start minting NFT when it launched the Hot Wheels NFT Garage. It offers collectors a new way to buy and trade Hot Wheels digital toy cars on the blockchain. Mattel entered the Web 3.0 space in 2021 with various NFT collections and significant partnerships.
The Cryptoys and Mattel partnership focuses on digital-toy creation within the Cryptoyverse and aims to expand to physical toys in the future. The companies are now preparing the first edition of the Masters of the Universe (MOTU) digital-toy series, which will include 12 limited figures. They will release three more MOTU digital-toy series in the future.
The first edition will feature the famous He-Man/Prince Adam, Evil-Lyn, Battle Cat/Cringer and Tri-Klops, and subsequent digital editions will feature for example Orko, Teela, Beast-Man, Trap-Jaw, Skeletor, Sorceress, Panthor, and Man-At-Arms.
Will Weinraub, CEO and co-founder of Cryptoys, said:
“The Masters of the Universe series is full of iconic nostalgic characters that fans have watched, collected, and played with for decades. Many of us grew up with MOTU, so we felt it was the perfect series to launch first on the Cryptoys platform. In partnership with Mattel, we’re bringing new life to these beloved characters.”
Cryptoys recently revealed the alpha version ofthe game, and announced the first public Cryptoys MOTU Collection drop to takeplace on 9 November 2022.
