Locked tokens worth USD 175 million in DeFi Land
DeFi Land is a unique multi-chain farming game designed to diversify all aspects of decentralized finance.
Staking
The first 10 days of DeFi Land staking attracted over 3,300 users, and USD 175 million worth of tokens were staked. The staking period preferred by users was 21 weeks. The development team had to introduce LP (liquidity provider) staking, and during the implementation of this decision, all funds were transferred from Raydium to the DeFi Land platform. This will ensure a balance between liquidity providers and stakers in terms of their bonuses (NFT, land sales, etc.).
DeFi Land Seeds
In January 2022, 7,500 DeFi Land Seeds were released, and on February 9, these 7,500 NFT seeds were released for sale at 2 SOL. Immediately after purchase, these seeds needed to be "watered" with $DFL game tokens for 30 days. Anyone who took care of a seed could receive one to four utility Gen-0 NFTs, which will be used for various activities and exclusive perks in the game itself. A total of 6,341 seeds were planted, and nearly 20 million $DFL tokens were burned during the event, with approximately 22,000 NFT given away to players.
Prior to the game’s release, these NFT can be purchased at Magic Eden, Solanart, and Fractal. Each of these NFTs has its own set of characteristics, as well as unlocking in-game and earning mechanisms for specific activities.
MoonPay
MoonPay is a FinTech company that builds payments infrastructure for crypto transactions using standard payment methods, including bank transfers and card payments. DeFi Land is the first project on the Solana Network integrating this method into its platform. This makes it easier for players to exchange traditional (fiat) money for the SOL token, which in turn can be exchanged for the $DFL or $GOLDY in-game currency.
Solana Spaces store
There is a brick-and-mortar Solana Spaces store in Miami. Here, visitors had the chance to win 100 $DFL tokens if they correctly answered a quiz question about the DeFi Land game. Visitors also have the opportunity to purchase gaming-themed items related not only to DeFi Land.
