Meta World: My City Launches Pre-Registration
Netmarble, a South Korean company focused on developing and publishing quality mobile games, has announced the launch of pre-registration for their new game, Meta World: My City. Pre-registration launched on March 8 on the game's official website, Google Play and App Store, with special in-game items for all registered players.
The following rewards are available for pre-registered players:
- Registered players via Google Play or the App Store will receive in-game items in the form of seasonal character summoning tickets and gold
- Pre-registrants who post information about the registration or retweet the official announcement and post the hashtag #MetaWorld on Facebook or Twitter, then take a photo and post it on the game's Discord, have the chance to be selected to receive a special epic card, a season pass for a character summoning, and diamonds
- If the number of pre-registrations exceeds one million, there will be many different rewards for all registrants, including avatar costume sets, gold, or a Seulgi character card
Meta World: My City is the sequel to Let's Get Rich, which has attracted more than 200 million players worldwide. In this new game, players will be able to acquire virtual properties in the metaverse, which are based on real locations around the world.
Netmarble wants to continuously develop Meta World and make the platform a place where players can interact with each other and play different games across the metaverse. The game will run on the MBX gaming blockchain ecosystem from MARBLEX.
The game's first introduction took place last month during a live Ask Me Anything (AMA) broadcast on MBX's Discord channel. The game garnered a positive response from fans of the original Let's Get Rich game.
On March 20, at the GDC (Game Developers Conference) held in San Francisco, more details about the features and tokenomics of Meta World will be released.
