New Blockchain-Based Baseball Game from WeMade

South Korean development company, WeMade, has announced  a new blockchain-based baseball game. The game does not have an official release name yet, but the working title is ‘Round 1 Baseball (R1B).’ The team behind the game is from Round one Studio, who already have another baseball game called 'Magumagu' to their credit.

R1B is set to become the flagship game for the new R1 Metaverse, which will be a token-based sports metaverse. The R1B game will bring players a unique baseball experience with a combination of highly realistic characters, perfect graphics and a dedicated game engine that will allow players to explore the game in more depth than other games.

Further information indicates that players will earn "Money Ball" tokens in the game, which will also be stackable to obtain a special R1 token used for platform management.

The game is currently in the final editing phase and is scheduled for release in late 2023. At launch, it will be available in 170 countries worldwide on the WeMade blockchain platform, and on the Google Play and App Stores.
