New Town Star Economy

Town Star is a strategic farming game in which the player’s goal is to build the most efficient and productive town. Now, the game has completely changed its economy and primary token, GALA. In the future, we can also expect a lot of other new developments from the game's development team.

The Town Star project has said goodbye to the TownCoin currency, which is being converted to the $GALA token at the rate of 1.25 TOWN = 1 GALA.

With the new opportunity to publish games on its blockchain, $GALA will be called the $GAS token of transactions. Node* operators in the Town Star ecosystem will be rewarded through a portion of the fees collected for the $GAS token. If players exchange $TOWN tokens for $GALA tokens, operators of active Town Star nodes will receive a portion of the $GALA tokens spent on $GAS tokens.

All players holding Town tokens will have sufficient time to exchange these tokens for $GALA at a fixed rate of 1.25 TOWN = 1 GALA. After this time, the $TOWN token will be removed from all exchanges and will have no further use in the future. To exchange, players need a Gala Games account, which they can create on the Gala.com website. If players wish to exchange tokens from their treasure chest, they must spend them first.

The game has a lot of new improvements and gameplay features planned, such as:

- A new decoration system for minor city modifications

- A new social system, such as the ability to view other players' towns

- Improvements to NFTs

- Improvements to competitions

*Town nodes are nodes designed to support the Town Star ecosystem and help pin content on the DCDN. Nodes will be rewarded based on their contributions.
