The Famous Mona Lisa as a NFT

ElmonX, formerly Vtail, announced an exciting new NFT collection at the end of February. The company will partner with Bridgeman Images to launch a rare Mona Lisa NFT collection.

Perhaps the most famous painting of the Mona Lisa by the exceptional Renaissance artist and builder who was far ahead of his time, Leonardo da Vinci, needs no introduction. ElmonX has decided to bring this painting into the digital world using blockchain technology and turn the painting into an NFT collection.

Thanks to a partnership with Bridgeman Images and ElmonX's technology, the NFT Mona Lisa has been created in 3D and offered for sale. It will allow holders of these NFTs to view and engage with the painting at any time and in augmented reality.

The team has released two different types of collections with digital assets.

The first collection, called the Mona Lisa Original Edition, contains 330 NFTs and was sold for 150 GBP (British Pounds Sterling) for approximately 181 USD. At the time of writing, it is available on the OpenSea marketplace, and the price starts at 1.1 ETH.

The second collection, Artist Proof Edition, is extremely limited and contains only 10 NFTs. This version is an exact copy of the painting in the same scale and museum quality. The original price was 900 GBP, approximately 1,084 USD, and at the time of writing, it is selling from 55 ETH on, to the OpenSea marketplace.

Interested parties could purchase the NFT using a credit card, or for Ethereum currently, the sale of this collection is enabled on the OpenSea marketplace. The platform's payment terms govern it.
